There is no maintenance person assigned to the boat. If something needs to be done, call Dick Chappell and talk to him about it. If you have questions on how to fix something or where to get things to fix the houseboat, you can call Jay Whatcott also. You can actually get things done yourself, you just need to okay it first. Things do need to be fixed when you break them- so please be proactive and do it when it happens, don't pass it on to the next guy:( if at all possible. We all need to work together to keep the boat working properly and looking nice. Anyone interested in taking over the maintenance position should let Dick Chappell know. THANKS!
Just a few other reminders:
Please review the checkout process:
Time to leave- 12 noon
Fill with water
Empty toilet- (check with flashlight to make sure its empty- don't just assume it is)
Fill with gas- (there are 2 gas tanks to fill and add oil)
check propane tanks- (even if you didn't use them)
If the boat is low on something (oil, chairs, etc.) call and let the next person know
Send your checkout sheets to me ASAP- If you write things on the papers, and don't send them in- there is no way we know about problems until the end of the year when we collect the papers. If it is something big- call me or Dick Chappell ASAP- the papers don't usually get to me until 1-3 weeks after you have been there.
